Charlotte-based agent Kay Casey of Keller Williams is at the top of her class thanks to her affiliation with HouseHunt.com. She closed 19 Internet-generated transactions in only four months and has another 20 deals set to close in the coming months. Casey has generated more than $5 million in HouseHunt sales this year in only six months.
This production – primarily from HouseHunt buyer leads – makes Casey a top producer among 300 agents in her office. “Home buyers are 80% of my business and 100% of my buyer leads are from HouseHunt,” Casey said. “I receive numerous bona fide leads every week, mostly relocation leads coming from everywhere. I have clients from Texas, Ohio, Maine, New Jersey, Michigan and California in addition to those from my local area.
Casey has developed a comprehensive system that is used to qualify and incubate new Internet leads. She knows the importance of keeping her pipeline filled with prospects as to ensure a steady flow of business in the future. “The Internet is a great tool and HouseHunt.com has generated a tremendous amount of new business for me. But I understand that success is directly related to how you handle your leads, not the quantity of leads you receive. It’s not only about generating new business; it’s about creating repeat and referral business that lasts a lifetime.” |

Charlene (Char) Schellenberg, a top-producing sales agent for Coldwell Banker Gundaker in suburban St. Louis, MO, closed a dozen relocation transactions in June that represented $3 million in gross dollar volume. This boosted her year-to-date production to $4.2 million.
Char said her relocation business is coming from all over the country – California, Michigan, Wisconsin and New York, among other states – and internationally from such places as Switzerland and Taiwan. “Probably 70% of my leads are coming from HouseHunt.com,” estimates Schellenberg, who represents Chesterfield, MO. “Of those, I will probably convert 40% into actual transactions.”
Schellenberg has been featured as a HouseHunt agent for her success in finding
homes for two players for the St. Louis Rams football team: Kyle Turley and Dave
Wohlabaugh. Both prospects came from HouseHunt.com. Schellenberg, always a Rams
fan, currently serves on the board of directors for the National Football League
team’s Greater St. Louis Quarterback Club and is active in the group’s
membership and charity work. However, her affiliation with the Rams did not payoff
with business until Turley and Wohlabaugh found Char on her HouseHunt website.
“HouseHunt definitely puts you in front of the buyers and allows you to
have an opportunity at business you would otherwise never have had a chance at.”
A successful sales agent for two decades, Schellenberg became affiliated with HouseHunt in February of 2003. Her outstanding success can be traced directly to her dedication to detail, knowledge of the industry, and expertise in handling relocation clients. |
